Masterclass

In this workshop, we’ll work on the necessity of dance and on the belief and emotion we put into it. We’ll use an individual or collectively written text, whether found or invented, as backdrop to fail, fail again, fail better. How does textual imagination nourish the imagination of dance? How do dancing and speaking at the same time, or doing one just before the other, cultivate our dance and speech-based capacities for imagination?

Lucie Lintanf

Lucie Lintanf lives in Douarnenez. She obtained her master’s degree at the School of Fine Arts in Nantes and trained with Forum Dança in Lisbon before going on to work with companies in Brittany and Portugal. In 2017, she co-founded Le Vertige in Brest and started her own company, Vertige et Horizon, in 2023. She is currently working on Danses de Chambres, a piece about dancing alone at home, scheduled to premiere in April 2025.

Classes take place once a month from 10 am to 4 pm at Le Quartz (Brest)

Annual fee: 135€ for 9 masterclasses
Individual fee: 25€ per masterclass
Fee for University of Western Brittany students: €5 per month or €35 per year* GANG membership fee: 5€ per season
