Masterclass

At the end of 2021, I began research at L'L – Brussels on the question of pleasure in dance, starting from the perspective of neuroscience. After years of working as a performer and choreographer, I needed to return to the pleasure of dancing in its most spontaneous form. This research now infuses my creative processes and my writing for the stage (En Haut En Bas - 2024, Face B - 2027). For the GANG masterclass, I propose to share some of the tools and practices developed during this research and to bring together everyone's movements in all their diversity.

Léa Rault

Léa Rault is a dancer and choreographer. She trained at the Conservatoire de Rennes and at Forum Dança in Lisbon. Alongside her career as a performer (Christine Le Berre, Clédat&Petitpierre, L’Unanime, Catherine Legrand, etc.), she creates her own pieces in collaboration with Alina Bilokon and regularly leads choreography workshops and creative projects with non-professional dancers. At the end of 2021, Léa began a research residency at L'L in Brussels on the notion of pleasure in dance.

Practical Information

Classes take place once a month from 10 am to 4 pm at Le Quartz (Brest)

Annual fee: €150 per year for 8 masterclasses and 1 workshop
Individual fee: €25 per masterclass
Two-day workshop fee: €50
Fee for University of Western Brittany students: €5 per month*
GANG membership fee: 5€ per season
